6.5. Fiber Splitters

6.5.1 Optical Splitters are either Single-Mode or Multi-Mode optical glass devices used to distribute

fiber optic signals to multiple fiber optic output locations

6.5.2 Fiber Optic Splitters shall not be directly connected to one another.

6.5.3 More than one Fiber Optic Splitter shall not be placed in one Carrier Communications Space

on the same circuit path.

6.5.4 No more than three fiber optic splitters shall be placed in the overall circuit path.

6.6. Optical Terminations and Connectors

6.6.1 Fusion splices are rated as Standard in AT&T and shall be used.
