This table provides a description of the Ranging Parameters window.

Parameter Description
Power Offset
Threshold (dB)
Specify in 1/4 dB units. If power level offset reported by
MAC chip is less than or equal to this threshold value,
then power level adjustment may be stopped. By default,
Power Offset Threshold is set at 8.
Power Desired Read-only. This is used as a reference when computing
power adjustment.
Maximum Rang ing
Invitations
Read-only. Maximum ranging invitations that a CM may
ignore before being considered quiet.
